Using different coloured lines to represent links such as marriage, offspring or clones, these three posters showed the connections between popular Marvel Comics characters across three of their most well-known teams. Each character was depicted as an iconographic version of themselves, using only the shape of their head and key colours where appropriate.
All three of the posters, especially the X-Men one, proved extremely popular and were featured on a number of major websites such as Slash Film and Comics Alliance when I first released them in 2011. In 2014 the X-Men Family Tree was printed in Manuel Lima’s The Book of Trees, published by Princeton Architectural Press, and in 2015 it was featured in an exhibition at the Rockefeller University Library in New York.
Unfortunately, due to rights issues no prints were made of it and no posters will likely ever be available (sorry, I get asked that a lot).
