I’ve had a speech impediment since I was around seven years old, and it’s commonly something that people avoid talking about. I thought it’s an important topic to discuss and not something that should be shied away from, so made a short graphic memoir about what it’s like having a stutter and how it has affected my life, from developing it as a child to how I deal with it now.
The response to it has been overwhelmingly positive, including it being named as the ‘Thought Bubble 2018 Comic of the Festival’ by Broken Frontier.
It’s available to buy on my shop page, or at various specialist shops around the UK.
